Foam Chamber are primarily
used for "Type II" top-side application
of foam to various types of flammable liquid storage tanks.
Sized to
protect Either full surface involvement or seal fires. In
operation, foam solution passes through a foam maker, is
aspirated and enters an expansion chamber where it is
deflected onto the flammable liquid fuel surface. A burst
disc located in the chamber body restricts the release of
flammable Vapours, but is reptured by
foam solution passing through the chamber body. The foam
chamber is provided with a primed finish includes solid
Discharge deflector.
